About the club
TKA Loughborough is one of TKFGB’s twelve member clubs. It follows the federation’s traditional Shotokan syllabus and grading system, and its students take part in TKFGB squad training, seminars and competitions.

Good to know
Do I have to be fit to start?
Not at all. Our beginners’ classes are the perfect way to build up your fitness, whatever your starting point.
What should I wear?
Any sports clothes that let you move freely. You can get a karate-gi later from your instructor.
From what age can children start?
From five years old. Children train in their own groups, separated by age and grade.
